Remove Spyfalcon automatically with ParetoLogic Antispyware

Summary: SpyFalcon is an anti-adware program that issues false warnings of threats to your computer in an attempt to get you to purchase its full version. If this malicious program is installed on your computer, you will notice warnings that either appear in pop ups or in a bar at the lower corner of your screen. Typically, a small icon that appears in your task bar will generate the messages.

Details: The warnings look legitimate since they appear to generate from Microsoft’s Security Center. The box that they appear in looks similar to those generated by Microsoft. The messages will indicate that your computer has been infected with malicious spyware. You will be told to “click here” to remove this threat to your computer system. Additionally, the messages will suggest that you run their special anti-spyware removal tool, which, by the way, you will need to purchase. If you do make the mistake of clicking to check it out, SpyFalcon may attempt to download itself, even if you decide not to purchase it..

FACT: SpyFalcon will not remove any spyware from your computer.

It is not designed for that. Rather, it will proliferate spyware on your computer and create even more problems for you than you started with. SpyFalcon can remain on your computer once it is installed, remain hidden from you, start up when the computer starts up, connect to the Internet, hijack your browser, generate pop ups, and install additional unwanted software.

All of this will lead to frustration for the computer user. Frustration with ads continually popping up and frustration with a computer that is no longer as quick in its processes will lead to a very undesirable situation. Moreover, stress will result from the constant worry that some of your personal information might be stolen from your files by spyware. The best thing for the computer user to do is to remove SpyFalcon as quickly as possible.

Remember to back up important files prior to attempting manual removal of SpyFalcon.

Manual removal of SpyFalcon requires following these steps:

Click start in the lower left of your screen.

Click run from the menu.

Type 'regedit' in the white box labeled open.

Click ok to open the registry editor.

Delete the following registry values:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MicrosoftWindows\CurrentVersion\

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{D1A2E7CD-F5C1-21A8-CA2C-13D0AC72D19D}

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{244B730E-D899-4E38-9428-03D114324E0}

Uninstall\SpyFalcon

The following directories will need to be removed or deleted from your computer:

C:\ProgramFiles\SpyFalcon and C:\Documents and Settings\{Current User}\Start Menu\Programs\SpyFalcon.

You will also need to delete files associated with SpyFalcon. Use the Windows search function to find these files and delete them:

Remember to empty the recycle bin after you have deleted the files.

You will also need to kill the following processes:

mssearchnet.exe
nvctrl.exe
spyfalcon.exe

SpyFalcon is an insidious program with Trojans and spyware that should be avoided. If it is installed on your computer, you should take steps to remove it immediately. If the manual removal appears to be too tedious or difficult for you, other options exist.
