Product Descriptions and Training Length

Course – is a guided and pertinent experience in learning that puts together practice and lecture to give you the required knowledge of a Microsoft technology or product.

· Classroom –- 3-5 days
· E-Learning —15-25 hours
· Distance Learning – 4-10 sessions over 2-5 weeks

Workshop – is a hands-on training experience that uses real-world scenarios. A collaborative and safe environment is provided to the student to learn about products from Microsoft.

· Classroom –- 2-3 days
· E-Learning —10-15 hours

Stand-alone/Hands-on Labs (HOL) – a group of labs that give IT professionals and developers hands-on use with a new or existing Microsoft technology or product. These hands-on labs give you a safe and realistic environment to learn in. there is not a lot of text content or lectures in these hands-on labs, except for context settings, lab reviews, and lab introductions.

· Classroom – up to 1 day
· E-Learning – 2-6 hours

First Look Clinics – is a group of products that are created especially to give early content or important information that internal customer or product groups need communicated to them broadly and quickly. The First Look products give knowledge-based (not skill-based) data to an audience of high-level Business Decision Makers.

· Classroom – up to 1 day

IWorker Courses – is a scenario-based courseware product that will assist you in competing in the desktop applications market. This is an on-the-job training with productivity and business solutions using applications instead of feature-based training. Information Worker courses promote knowledge and skills transfer within business scenarios. The courses assist in business objectives by encouraging both collaborative and independent work so you can efficiently find answers. These courses were designed for users with working knowledge of the required technology and that want to apply that knowledge to specific scenarios in business.
