Intervideo.exe
Description – Intervideo.exe is an application process belonging to software from the InterVideo software producers. Intervideo create WinDVD among other popular software applications. This commercial DVD player is designed specifically for use with Windows applications and can play DivX formats as well as backup DVD formats. The process is an important one, but may not necessarily need to be run whenever you start your PC. As such it can be disabled from the startup list of processes if you want to save hard disk space or improve system performance on your computer. Associated Errors – There are currently no known errors with the genuine version of the intervideo.exe process. However, many spyware and malware applications do mimic genuine process names in order to remain resident on your computer and avoid suspicion of being a threat. As such, if you believe that intervideo.exe is causing a problem on your computer then you should ensure that it is scanned using antispyware and antivirus software to be safe. Recommended Solution – Regular InterVideo software users should leave the exe file on their PC unless it is known to be causing problems. It is not necessary to have the process running when you start up your PC, though, and this function can be disabled to preserve system resources and integrity at the individual user's discretion
