Ntdll.dll
Description – ntdll.dll, referred to as the NT Layer DLL, is a critical Microsoft dll file that is required by NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP machines to run properly and efficiently. However, it was known to cause some serious errors with a number of machines and was also considered a serious threat because it included a potential security risk. The ntdll.dll file is not considered to be spyware, a virus, or any other form of malicious software and it is required by the Windows operating system on many machines. There are steps that should be taken, however, in order to ensure that your system is safe and that you do not experience some of the common problems most often associated with the ntdll.dll file. Associated Errors – In a security bulletin released by Microsof in 2003 the ntdll.dll was recognized as offering hackers a way to breach the security of your system. Patches, fixes, and updates to the Windows Security Pack 1 were released in order to ensure that this threat did not continue. Some users have reported receiving an error message stating that an unknown hardware error has occurred with the ntdll.dll file. Common causes of this problem include the use of a damaged or scratched installation disk if the error is received just after installing Windows, an illegal copy of the disk under the same circumstances, or one of various hardware issues. Out of date or inaccurate drivers can also be a cause of this error. Recommended Solution – Primarily you should ensure that you have the latest patches and security updates installed for the Windows operating system. This security issue was fixed in a release for Service Pack 1 so any later service packs will also fix this issue. You can attempt to reinstall Windows on your computer using an undamaged or legal copy of the Windows installation disk if you believe your current disk is damaged. This will replace a potentially corrupt or missing ntdll.dll file with a good copy. Update all drivers on your computer to ensure that it is not an outdated driver causing the error.

I love RegCure. I was telling my sister
in law, how, since I downloaded your program, I have had little to no
problems with my computer. Everyday, about six times a day I used to receive
a message that said Virtual Memory is too Low. Now it's fine and my
computer runs faster too. Cyril S.
