Ocx Errors
Description – An OCX file, like a Dynamic Link Library or DLL, is a highly specific subprogram that can be called by Windows based applications to perform certain tasks. They are used in place of large amounts of code to minimize the production time and the resulting executable file size and make applications smaller and more compatible with the Windows operating system. Another, more recent, name for an OCX file is an ActiveX control. They are stored within the system folders of your computer and are called by the operating system itself and by the applications installed on the operating system. When an OCX file is missing or corrupt it can cause applications and procedures within applications to fail and, in the worst case scenario, it can cause Windows to fail. Associated Errors – When an OCX is called incorrectly or an incorrect OCX is called by a program you will receive error messages. It is also possible that, with some OCX files, a missing or corrupt file can cause Windows to freeze or crash. Recommended Solution – The first thing to do is to attempt to download the missing or damaged OCX file. There are many places on the Internet where these are available and any error message you receive will typically include the exact file name needed. Registering the OCX file once downloaded can also help. You may also attempt to repair your Windows installation using the installation disk in order to replace all of the necessary system files required to perform major tasks. Failing this, third party software is the final answer. Automated software can be used to scan your system, find damaged or missing OCX files, and replace them or repair them as necessary.

I love RegCure. I was telling my sister
in law, how, since I downloaded your program, I have had little to no
problems with my computer. Everyday, about six times a day I used to receive
a message that said Virtual Memory is too Low. Now it's fine and my
computer runs faster too. Cyril S.
