Windows freezing
Description – Windows freezing is usually a major issue. It can cause lost work, damaged files, and other problems that are difficult to recover from. As a one-off occurrence it is unlikely to cause that much trouble and it should be easy to remedy by taking several general steps. However, if it occurs frequently then it could be a sign of a deeper, underlying problem that needs addressing quickly and accurately. The first step is to try and determine what is causing the problem. If Windows is freezing every time you perform a particular action, such as opening an application, then it is more than likely that this application or action is causing the problem. Software issues are the most common cause of Windows freezing but hardware, driver, operating system, CPU, or Windows problems may be to blame so further investigation is typically required. Associated Errors – Depending on the type and cause of the problem you may experience other, related problems besides Windows freezing. There are also various levels of frozen systems. If pressing the number lock button causes the number lock light to switch on and off then you may be able to recover the problem without taking any more action apart from closing down the application using the Windows task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete). Recommended Solution – Attempting to close down an application that is causing the applications is the first and most simple step. Windows task manager can be accessed by holding Ctrl + Alt + Delete, highlighting the application in the Applications tab and clicking End Task. Ensure that your software is up to date by searching for the latest patches, releases, and updates. Also do the same thing for your Operating System. Windows Updates, in particular, regularly include fixes or patches for well known, common problems. Download the latest driver for any hardware that may be causing the problem. Driver related issues can be common place if you do not regularly update these important drivers. Try to check that all hardware is installed and fitted properly and ensure that the CPU is not overheating. A hot CPU will cause your computer to crash and Windows to freeze.

I love RegCure. I was telling my sister
in law, how, since I downloaded your program, I have had little to no
problems with my computer. Everyday, about six times a day I used to receive
a message that said Virtual Memory is too Low. Now it's fine and my
computer runs faster too. Cyril S.
