Windows XP errors
Description – Windows XP is one of the most popular and powerful Operating Systems published and distributed by Microsoft. It is used by many millions of people worldwide and while it offers many features it does still suffer from occasional problems and errors. When Windows XP errors occur they can range from simple errors that can be quickly remedied to much more complicated and crippling errors that may seem irretrievable at first glance. While each error has its own reason and typically has its own solution there are some steps you can take in order to try and beat the problem without digging much deeper. These general Windows XP error fixes may not work for all problems but they will for some. Associated Errors – Windows XP, like any operating system, can fall foul to various different errors. Some are simple and can be fixed by restarting the computer or even just trying whatever you were doing again. Alternatively, major problems can occur. These crippling errors can prevent access to your system or can make your system operate so slowly that it is virtually impossible to do anything. Recommended Solution – Aside from trying again, the first step should be to restart your computer. This can reset some settings and gives XP another chance to open the necessary files. This simple step can and often does resolve many problems on a Windows computer and should always be the first thing you try in a bid to recover your computer. A slow Windows XP experience can often be put down to an infected computer. Spyware and viruses can infect computers without the users knowledge and often the first experience of this is a slow performing computer and an increase in errors. Run antispyware and antivirus applications to determine and resolve any infections that may be resident on your computer. The Windows registry is another common area for problems. Essential files and entries are found in here and without these it can make the running of your system impossible. Registry cleaning software is available that will look for damaged, corrupt, duplicate, and missing entries and attempt to restore your registry to full working order. Restoring your system to a previous data may also help. By restoring your computer to a date and time when you were not suffering problems you should be able to gain this same level of functionality without too much trouble. Windows XP itself contains several tools that you may want to consider running. The CHKDSK function, accessed through the command prompt screen, is particularly good for finding problems or errors with the hard drive. The disk defragmenter will clean up your hard drive and help your system run more effectively.

I love RegCure. I was telling my sister
in law, how, since I downloaded your program, I have had little to no
problems with my computer. Everyday, about six times a day I used to receive
a message that said Virtual Memory is too Low. Now it's fine and my
computer runs faster too. Cyril S.
