ParetoLogic Privacy Controls and Firefox Cookies
A Cookie is a file that is kept on your computer after you have been to a web site. There are cookies that will hold data on your system like your user name and password allowing you to return to the site and not have to enter this information each time. Cookies are sometimes used to track your browsing activities across the Internet. This is done to give you specific advertisements geared at the sites you have been at. They try to entice you to make purchases. When these types of cookies are on your system your privacy and security of information is at risk. If you trust the web site the cookie is from you could add the cookie to your Whitelist. The username and password cookies could be saved allowing you fast and easy access to the site in the future.
You have the ability to clear Firefox cookies putting them on the ParetoLogic Privacy Controls Whitelist ensuring they will not be erased from your system. It is a good idea to remove the ones that track and keep the ones with the logon information. You can add any Firefox cookie(s) to ParetoLogic Privacy Controls Whitelist easily.
