Motalases is a Remote
Administration Tool (RAT)
This Remote
Administration Tool is designed to assist a remote user in
influencing or controlling your computer from another
location.
This program is also a
Trojan, which means that it is typically installed manually by
the computer user, after the computer user has been tricked
into believing that the program is desirable software. If you
find the process Motalases.exe running on your computer, this
program may be installed on your system. Since this Remote
Administration Tool can jeopardize your privacy as well as
prevent your computer from operating in the manner that you
wish, if you discover that Motalases has been installed on
your computer without your knowledge, you may elect to remove
it.
If you decide to remove Motalases 1.0 from your computer,
remember that it is advisable to either use a spyware
removal software or consult a computer professional,
rather than attempting to manually remove it yourself.
Manual deletion of any
program should only be attempted if you are an expert in the
computer field and adept at altering the computer registry.

may attempt to influence your computer before you have
successfully deleted Motalases 1.0, it is not a bad idea to
prevent your computer from accessing the internet until after
the manual deletion has been completed.
Next, the file motalases.exe can be deleted where it is
found in the system directory.
Next, any registry value marked “Motalases” should be deleted.
Once you have completed these steps, observe your computer for
signs of instability or other negative consequences. If you
believe that the manual deletion attempt has had a negative
impact on your computer, use your backup or System Restore
point to restore your computer to its previous settings. Then
either consult with a computer professional or use a spyware
removal software to remove Motalases 1.0 from your system.
