The following are all variants of CoolWebSearch: CoolWebSearch/PnP:

CoolWebSearch/MSSPI; CoolWebSearch/DataNotary; CoolWebSearch/BootConf; CoolWebSearch/MSInfo; CoolWebSearch/SvcHost; CoolWebSearch/DNSRelay; and CoolWebSearch/Winres.  To date, over fifty variants of this malicious Trojan have been identified.
 
CoolWebSearch can and will add additional unwanted and undesirable software applications to your computer without your knowledge or permission. 

The additional software that CoolWebSearch installs is typically another form of adware.  Moreover, CWS will attack your computer’s security software.  Some variants have been known to destroy the anti-spyware programs that computer users have installed on their computers.
 
Due to the number of variants, manual removal of CoolWebSearch is difficult and tedious.  It is recommended that you use an anti-spyware/adware removal tool.  Do your research and discover the tool that is best for your needs.

You will need to unregister MicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionDLL files:

You will need to detect and delete the following CoolWebSearch files:

DownloaderEXE.exe

Update911.js
DNLDC.ocx
 
Due to the possibility that any manual removal instructions may be outdated by the time you need them, manual removal is not recommended.
